Funerals

If you’ve found your way to this page, it’s likely you’re grieving the loss of someone deeply important in your life. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

You may already be working with your local funeral director—someone who will guide you through the planning and take care of the practical and legal aspects with sensitivity and professionalism. I hold funeral directors in high regard; they are not only experts in their field, but also provide invaluable emotional support during such a difficult time. My role is to work alongside them, leading and delivering your loved one’s ceremony with care and presence.

Some families choose a faith leader to conduct the service, while others feel a celebrant like myself may better reflect their wishes. Whether you’re planning something traditional or a more personalised and celebratory occasion, I will work closely with you to create a service that truly honours your loved one’s life, character, and story. Together, we can weave memories, readings, poems, music, and tributes into a ceremony that feels meaningful and true to them.

If you’d like to talk things through, please feel free to reach out for an informal, no-obligation chat. Once agreed I’ll arrange to meet with you and any family members you’d like to include so I can listen to your memories and wishes in detail. From there, I’ll create a bespoke ceremony that reflects your loved one with warmth and authenticity.

My fee is currently £250, which includes:

  • An in-person meeting with family members
  • Follow-up discussions to fine-tune the ceremony
  • A summary of the service for you to review and approve beforehand
  • My attendance on the day to welcome you and lead the ceremony

Please note, I offer my services free of charge if the deceased is under 18 years old
